SHIPPING COSTS & DELIVERY TIMES

Standard orders must be placed by 11:59 PM PST to start processing the next day. Processing time usually takes 1 business day, and orders will generally arrive within 3-5 business days from when the order is processed. Expedited orders must be placed by 9:00 AM PST to start processing the same day and will arrive based on the transit time of the selected service. Delivery times are based on orders placed between Monday – Friday. If your order contains a hazmat item, it will ship ground (2 – 8 days total delivery time). Number 4 offers FREE STANDARD SHIPPING on all U.S. merchandise orders $75 and over (excluding taxes and certain restrictions). Select items considered hazardous materials are restricted and must be shipped with Ground Service. Orders $75 and over always ship Standard for free—no promotion code needed. There is a standard shipping and handling fee for shipments totaling less than $75. Our standard shipping option is Standard 3-Day shipping for most locations, with delivery times varying depending on location.

HAWAII, ALASKA & PUERTO RICO

Regretfully, we cannot ship orders to Hawaii, Alaska & Puerto Rico. At this time, we only offer shipping to the continental United States.

P.O. BOX

If you are shipping to a U.S. P.O. Box, we offer USPS Priority free on orders $75 and over. If your shipment contains restricted items, unfortunately, we cannot deliver to a P.O. Box at this time. All restricted (Hazmat) items must be shipped via UPS Ground.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We apologize, however at this time, we only offer shipping to the continental United States. For information on buying our products outside of the continental United States and those included states, please contact info@number4hair.com.

APO/FPO/DPO MILITARY ADDRESSES

All shipments to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses are sent via USPS Priority. Due to military handling time, delivery to some destinations may take up to 21 days.

For additional restrictions to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses (See Restricted Hazardous Items section below).

MULTIPLE SHIPPING ADDRESSES

At this time, we can only ship to one address per order.

RESTRICTED HAZARDOUS ITEMS

Certain items considered hazardous materials include aerosols and alcohol-based products (e.g., pressurized spray cans, hairspray, etc.), are restricted and required by the U.S. Department of Transportation to be shipped by ground-only transport due to air transport restrictions and regulations. For these shipments, we utilize UPS. Regrettably, these items cannot be shipped to P.O. Box Addresses, Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, or APO/FPO/DPO.

BUSINESS DAYS & HOLIDAYS

All orders process and ship Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Based on the shipping method selected at checkout, if the order is placed after the cut-off time, it will be processed the following business day.

Packages do not ship from our distribution centers on weekends or the following US holidays:

TRACKING ORDERS

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. The majority of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. The e-mail will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the selected carrier site. To track the order, click on the tracking number provided in the email. To track an order on number4hair.com visit the My Account area and click on the order number. You will need to sign in to access your account information.

REFUND POLICY

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your Number 4 eCommerce store purchase, simply return the unused portion to us within 30 days starting from the date of purchase, and we will be happy to credit your account for the purchase amount. 

Please note: Only products purchased on www.number4hair.com may be returned for a refund. For products purchased through Amazon.com, please follow Amazon’s return policy to obtain your refund. Number 4 Hair Care does NOT accept returns from unauthorized retailers, as they may be diverted and we cannot vouch for the products’ authenticity and quality.

Please follow the return instructions below: 

Fill out an online return request form. Include copy of receipt, photo of product(s), and photo of batch code. Batch code can be found at bottom of bottle.

Number 4 Hair Care will verify purchase and send you a shipping label via email to return the unused portion in its original packaging. 

Once received, we will issue a refund of the purchase (less shipping and handling). The cost of the return shipping label provided will be deducted from your refund. If the original order had an initial shipping fee, that original shipping cost is non-refundable. Please allow 4-5 business days to process return.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If when your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear; however, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please contact us immediately at 949.706.8318.

Please provide the order number along with your email address and phone number for fastest service. To assure prompt resolution, please retain the shipping box, packing materials and the damaged items for inspection by the carrier.

ITEM AVAILABILITY

Temporarily Out of Stock / Backordered Items: If an item selected is temporarily out of stock at the time of your order, you will be notified via email and advised of the expected ship date of the backordered item. Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available. Please be assured that you will not be charged for any item until it is shipped. If for any reason you wish to cancel a backordered item prior to its shipment, please contact us at 949.706.8318 and we will be happy to assist you.

MAXIMUM PURCHASE POLICY

We regret that we must limit orders to no more than twelve (12) of any item with a maximum purchase of $1,500 per customer. If you have any questions, please call us at 949.706.8318, or info@number4hair.com and we will be happy to assist.

SALES TAX

We are required by law to collect state sales tax on orders being shipped to all states and territories and all Canadian provinces and territories. Sales tax will be assessed on the total purchase*, including shipping and handling charges (as required) and gift-wrap charges. *Credit cards issued by a U.S. financial institution are accepted. We regret that we are unable to accept credit cards that have been issued by banks outside the U.S. All purchases are subject to bank authorization prior to processing. Only authorized purchases will be processed and shipped.

Important Information: For your security, your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not match this criteria.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you would like to cancel an online order after it has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible by phone at 949.706.8318. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:

  • Item(s) not available.
  • Difficulty in processing payment information.
  • Cannot ship to the address provided.
  • A duplicate order was placed.
  • Cancelled due to a customer request.
