Turn off your phone, write an out of office message and try skipping the news for a week so that you can really cut off from the world and press the reset button. If a full digital detox is just too difficult for you, be disciplined, and simply check-in with your texts and notifications once a day.
Call on External “Help” and Have It Done for You!
You’re on stay-cation after all, so why should you be slaving over the stove? Create a stack of all your family’s favorite take-out menus next to the phone and take turns each day ordering whatever strikes your fancy! Maybe even arrange with the neighbors to have a “date night”. Get the kids to report to a designated house for an evening of fun while you and your boo enjoy a kid-free night. Rotate and repeat so that your neighbors get to enjoy the same treat.

Roll up and put away the rugs and enjoy walking around your home barefoot.
